Our Background in the Tourism Industry

We moved to the Devon coast in 2016 with a vision to create a luxurious woodland retreat - complete with waterfall showers, woodland saunas, spa treatments, and sound baths, all immersed in nature.

 

After two years of designing, planning, and building, that vision finally came to life.

From day one, we accepted direct bookings alongside listing on major booking platforms. Our initial marketing strategy focused on using these platforms for visibility while also offering influencer and press stays. Within just 12 months, our retreat was fully booked for the next two years - and we even had to introduce a waiting list.

Over the following three years, our business gained significant recognition, winning multiple awards and being featured in The Times, Forbes, and Channel 4’s Extraordinary Escapes.

 

Our backgrounds in website design, marketing, and sales played a crucial role in reaching our ideal guests and converting enquiries into bookings. Today, we use this expertise to support other holiday accommodation owners - helping them get online, grow their direct bookings, and enjoy the freedom that comes with having a well-designed, effective website.
